Just a quick post to let you guys know I have made a blacklist for our site to let certain people and websites know they are not welcome to our website anymore. Gladly, so far I only have one Facebook page listed on our blacklist. Hope this list will stay short. If you support J-Lafferty.com, we would appreciate if you, just like us, stop supporting the following Facebook page: After reporting on a few photos and asked nicely to remove our previous layout (!!), the owner refuses to remove our designs. Thanks for your time. |
| Hurricane Irene threat prompts One Tree Hill to shut down production |

While One Tree Hill has encountered a faux-hurricane in its lengthy run, a real-life mega-storm is something they’d rather steer clear of. Hence, the CW series has halted production on its final season in anticipation of Hurricane Irene’s expected East Coast arrival this weekend. “As a precautionary measure and in consideration of our cast and crew, One Tree Hill production has shut down for today and [Saturday] due to Hurricane Irene,” a rep for the show tells The Hollywood Reporter. “We will continue to monitor the situation over the next few days.” Tree Hill‘s Sophia Bush addressed the development Thursday, tweeting, “All our fans in town, please stay inside! We will not be filming. Stay safe.” Bush’s real-life beau and OTH co-star Austin Nichols echoed the sentiment via Twitter with a joke: “Can’t wait to dance with this large woman called Irene.” While the production stoppage is merely a precaution, it’s likely one that may end up being a necessity: Hurricane Irene is expected to touch-down in North Carolina’s Barrier Islands on Saturday — not too far from where the primetime soap shoots in Wilmington. Production on New York-based reality series’ Hoarders and Clean House has also been halted until Monday due to Irene. One Tree Hill’s ninth and final season debuts on The CW at midseason. | What’s the deal with James Lafferty on One Tree Hill? |

You know all those questions you have about CW’s next season? Because we are also huge fans of Supernatural, One Tree Hill, and the rest, we have the same questions. Is season seven of Supernatural the last? How many episodes is James Lafferty really appearing in on One Tree Hill’s final season? Why didn’t The Vampire Diaries get extra episodes like Nikita and 90210 did? Don’t worry, CW Boss Mark Pedowitz took all our questions, and cranked out many answers… Fans of OTH have been jerked around concerning original cast member James Lafferty and his number of episodes. Some people hear he’s only appearing in a few. We heard he’ll definitely be in more than a few. And it sounds like Pedowitz confirms our theory: “I do know it’s for multiple.” That wasn’t answer enough for us, so we pressed Paul Hewitt, head of publicity, for an exact number, which he finally gave up. “It’s actually seven [episodes].” We guess that’s enough Nathan Scott for the final season. Oh, who are we kidding? Give us every episode or give us death! Sorry, the Diet Coke we’ve been chugging just kicked in. Chad Michael Murray told us last week that he would “absolutely” come back on OTH if they asked him. Unfortunately, as of right now, that’s not happening. “At this point, he’s not coming back. We hope he’ll come back,” Pedowitz says. “We’re going to try and reexamine it as the season goes on. But at this point other original cast members may return and more cast changes and what’s going on will be talked about by Mark Schwahn at a later point.” Here are the rest of the highlights from the CW presentation: * Want more than half a season of One Tree Hill? Pedowitz says “at this point, it’s just thirteen [episodes].” But he keeps hope alive for more OTH by adding: “never say never.” Source: Jenna Mullins @ E! Online |
| CW president: final One Tree Hill season will have 13 episodes |

While at a CBS/CW event for the Television Critics Association summer TV press tour, CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed to me that this would, indeed, be the final season of “One Tree Hill.” That, of course, had been announced back in May when the network unveiled its new season, but “One Tree Hill” has a reputation for cheating death, so I was just making sure. What was less clear back in May was how long this ninth and final season would be. The show got a 13 episode pickup, but many fans have wondered if the season could grow by a few more episodes. That’s certainly not the plan, Pedowitz said. “Today, it is 13 episodes.” It’s always possible, I suppose, that if the network feels the need to suddenly bump up “One Tree Hill,” now scheduled for a midseason bow around January or so, to earlier in the season to plug a sudden schedule hole, it’s possible the net could ask for more episodes. But the reality of filming (“One Tree Hill” will wrap by November, which means its final scripts would be in a few weeks before that) makes that possibility highly, highly unlikely. And again, this is just me spit-balling here. Pedowitz stood firm on the 13-episodes plan. Pedowitz, who took over the network reins from Dawn Ostroff, said he knew about the show’s strong fan following long before he took over at the CW. And though “One Tree Hill’s” eighth season finale could have served as a series ender, Pedowitz said he wanted to give one last gift to the show’s passionate fans. “We felt it would be really good for the viewers to have (another season),” Pedowitz said. “It’s a good show. The viewers loved it. So we thought we’d keep it going. The fans are very fervent about it, so we felt it was a great treat for them.” Source: Jeff Hidek @ Star News Online |
