My name is Can and I run this fansite from the beginning. I’m a huge One Tree Hill fan from the Netherlands and my hobbies are dancing, shopping, listening to music and building websites.

Since One Tree Hill aired in the Netherlands for the first time, I immediately got addicted to the show. It has something that made me love it, because I could find myself in such a teenage position. Nathan was my favorite character on the show, just the way he acts and smiles, everybody probably would fall in love with. At that time, I ran a fansite about “The O.C.” called TheModelHome.net, and it was a great success. After I just found one decent fansite about James, I asked the webmaster, Farah, if I could co-web, but she unfortunately decided to close the fansite. With the help of Gertie, I managed to set up J-Lafferty.com in May 2005. It was quickly a succes because the old James Lafferty fansite linked to J-Lafferty.com.

At that time, J-Lafferty.com was the only James fansite on the web. The site has been on the web as “James Lafferty Online”, but it didn’t work out as other small fansites were launched with the same name. That’s why I decided to change the name to “J-Lafferty.com”, so nobody will ever confuse us with another websites.

My goal is to show my appreciation to James Lafferty by running this fansite and to bring you as much as I can of James from news to photos, from photos to media stuff. I think he really deserves a decent fansite. I love to run this website, and it has become my baby!
